Built around a practical question

What is the most useful next step for this furniture?

Sometimes the answer is repair. Sometimes it is reupholstery, restoration, a phased program, or replacement. We look at how the furniture is used, what condition it is in, and what outcome actually makes sense before recommending the work.

From individual pieces to coordinated programs

Today, that work spans individual furniture repairs and reupholstery as well as coordinated commercial programs.

Teal Tomorrow grew from a sewing and design background into a family-owned upholstery business. Early work centered on individual pieces; over time, that expanded into recurring commercial work and coordinated furniture programs.

The scale has changed, but the approach remains hands-on: understanding how a piece is built, how it is used, and what work is appropriate for its condition.

Why Teal Tomorrow?

The name Teal Tomorrow came from the company’s earliest days. While painting the teal door of the first shop, the work was put down for the evening with the thought, “I’ll finish it tomorrow.” That brought to mind the familiar advice, “Don’t put off ’til tomorrow what you can do today,” and the name Teal Tomorrow stuck.

The meaning has grown with the business, but the idea still fits: thoughtful work, respect for what already exists, and a practical view of what can serve well into the future.

Craftsmanship and construction in practice

Commercial projects may involve hundreds of pieces and residential work may involve one, but the furniture still has to be taken apart, understood, repaired, and put back together correctly.

Commercial focus, residential craftsmanship

The type of project changes, but the attention to construction and workmanship does not.
